This policy explains how Emi's Cleaning Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

By using our website or our services, you agree to your information being handled as described here.

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and provide our cleaning services. This may include:

• your name, phone number, email address and suburb or postcode
• the address of the property to be cleaned, access arrangements and details about the property
• the services you are interested in, your preferred schedule and anything else you choose to tell us
• for NDIS participants, information such as how a plan is managed and the contact details of plan managers, support coordinators, nominees or family members, where you or they provide it
• billing and invoicing details

Some information, such as details about a participant’s support needs, may be sensitive. We only collect it with consent and only use it to provide the service.

We collect information directly from you when you contact us by phone, email or our website enquiry form, when we visit a property to prepare a quote, or while providing our services. With your consent, we may also receive information from people who arrange services for you, such as a support coordinator, plan manager, family member or property manager.

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and prepare quotes
• arrange, provide and manage cleaning services
• issue invoices and receive payment, including through NDIS plan managers
• communicate with you, and with people you have authorised, about your service
• meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

We only share personal information where it is needed to provide our services or required by law, for example with:

• our cleaning staff, so they can attend and carry out the agreed work
• plan managers, support coordinators, nominees or family members you have authorised
• service providers that help us run the business, such as email, website hosting and accounting providers
• government bodies, insurers or others where the law requires or permits it

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Messages sent through our enquiry form are delivered to our email inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). These providers may process or store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and only share what is needed to deliver your message.

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages visited, to keep the website secure and running.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including limiting access to the people who need it and using secure, password-protected systems. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or securely dispose of it.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge to make a request.
