FOR SUPPORT COORDINATORS & PLAN MANAGERS

NDIS Cleaning Referrals in Melbourne

A dependable cleaning provider for the participants you support.

When you're coordinating supports for a participant, you need providers who turn up as arranged, communicate clearly and treat the participant's home with respect.

Emi's Cleaning Services is a Melbourne family business that has been cleaning homes for over 14 years. We provide household cleaning for plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants across Greater Melbourne.

Our NDIS Support Manager, Kosta, is your single point of contact. He organises each service with the participant, their family, support coordinators and plan managers, so you always know who to call.

WHY COORDINATORS WORK WITH US

One less thing for you to follow up.

A Single Point of Contact

Kosta coordinates every NDIS service, from the first referral to changes in the schedule. You won't be passed between different people.

Familiar Cleaners

Wherever possible, the same cleaner attends each visit, so participants can get to know the person coming into their home.

Written Quotes

Before the service begins, we confirm in writing what will be cleaned, how often and on which days.

Clear Invoicing

Invoices go to the plan manager or the participant, depending on how the plan is managed, with the service details set out clearly.

Police-Checked & Fully Insured

Our cleaners are police-checked and fully insured, and we treat every participant's home and belongings with care.

Communication You Can Rely On

If anything changes, whether a missed visit, a new schedule or a concern raised by the participant, we let the right people know.

HOW REFERRALS WORK

From referral to a regular routine.

Send us the referral

Call us or use our enquiry form. A few details about the participant and their cleaning needs is all we need to get started.

We get in touch

With the participant's consent, we contact them or their nominee to talk about their home, routine and preferences.

We agree the service

We confirm the cleaning tasks, frequency and preferred days in writing, along with how the service will be invoiced.

We keep you updated

Once cleaning begins, we stay in touch with the participant and the people supporting them, and let you know about any changes.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN A REFERRAL

A few details help us get started quickly.

You don't need everything at once. Whatever you can share, with the participant's consent, helps us arrange the right service sooner.

  • The participant's name and the best way to contact them or their nominee
  • Their suburb
  • How their plan is managed: plan-managed or self-managed
  • The plan manager's details, if the plan is plan-managed
  • The cleaning they need help with, and how often
  • Preferred days and times
  • Anything that helps us support them well, such as access or communication needs, pets or allergies

NDIS FUNDING FOR HOUSEHOLD CLEANING

Household cleaning as a Core Support.

Household cleaning is generally funded through Core Supports, under Assistance with Daily Life, where the support relates to the participant's disability and is included in their plan.

As the support coordinator or plan manager, you'll know what the participant's plan allows. We're happy to work within it and to talk through which cleaning tasks would best support the participant at home.

If the participant's plan is NDIA-managed, please get in touch before referring and we'll let you know what's possible.

PLAN-MANAGED & SELF-MANAGED PARTICIPANTS

We work with both.

Plan-Managed Participants

We invoice the participant's plan manager for each service, with the dates, tasks and hours clearly set out. We'll confirm the plan manager's details and invoicing requirements before the first clean.

Self-Managed Participants

We invoice the participant or their nominee directly and provide the records they need for their own claims. They stay in control of the services they choose.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions support coordinators often ask.

How do I refer an NDIS participant to Emi's Cleaning?

Call us on 0481 545 781 or send an enquiry through our contact form. Include the participant's suburb, how their plan is managed and the cleaning they need, and we'll take it from there.

Do you work with plan-managed participants?

Yes. We provide household cleaning for plan-managed participants and invoice their plan manager directly.

Do you work with self-managed participants?

Yes. Self-managed participants or their nominees can book with us directly, and we invoice them for each service.

Who will be our contact?

Kosta, our NDIS Support Manager, looks after NDIS referrals and services. He's the person to speak to about new referrals, schedules and any changes.

Can the participant have the same cleaner each visit?

Wherever possible, yes. We understand how important familiarity and trust are, and we arrange consistent cleaners whenever scheduling allows.

Do you provide a written quote before the service starts?

Yes. We confirm the agreed cleaning tasks, frequency and days in writing before the first clean, so everyone involved knows what to expect.

How much does NDIS cleaning cost?

Every participant's home and needs are different, so we don't publish set prices. Give Emi a call on 0481 545 781 and she'll give you a price that suits the participant's situation.

Which areas of Melbourne do you cover?

We provide NDIS household cleaning across Greater Melbourne, including the western suburbs where we started, as well as the northern, eastern and south-eastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula, subject to availability.
