How much does end-of-lease cleaning cost in Melbourne?

Do I have to book professional end-of-lease cleaning in Victoria?
Not always. Victorian renters are generally required to leave a property reasonably clean and in a condition that accounts for fair wear and tear. Professional cleaning may be required in certain circumstances, depending on the rental agreement and the property's condition.
Does your end-of-lease cleaning guarantee my bond back?
We take responsibility for the cleaning work agreed in your quote and offer a 72-hour re-clean promise for eligible cleaning issues. However, the final bond decision can also involve matters outside cleaning, such as damage, missing items or outstanding rent.
Do I need to move all my furniture before the clean?
Ideally, the property should be empty, with personal belongings and rubbish removed, before our team arrives. This allows us to access the floors, cupboards and other areas properly.
If you need cleaning while furniture is still present, please discuss this with us beforehand.
Is carpet steam cleaning included?
Carpets are vacuumed as part of the agreed general end-of-lease cleaning. Professional carpet steam cleaning is a separate service that can be added to your quote when required.
Can you work with my real estate agent's cleaning checklist?
Yes. If your property manager has provided a specific cleaning checklist, please send it to us before your booking. We'll review the requirements and confirm what can be included in your quote.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend getting in touch as soon as you know your moving date, particularly if you need the property cleaned before a scheduled final inspection. Availability can be limited during busy periods.
